The Eimeria Image Database is
a collaborative research work developed by the laboratory of Molecular
Biology of Coccidia at the Departament of Parasitology of the Institute
of Biomedical Sciences in São Paulo and the cybernetic Vision
Research Group at the Institute of Physics in São Carlos,
University of São Paulo.
This database includes digital micrographs taken from
seven Eimeria species of
domestic fowl and eleven species of domestic rabbit.
Rabbit Eimeria
oocysts were provided by Dr. Michal Pakandl (Academy of Sciences of the
Czech Republic)
